Created in 2010 for the Jane Austen Evening event in Pasadena.  This gown is made of silk taffeta.  The patterns were drafted from Hunnisett and the sleeve and bodice front are my own design based on period fashion plates.  The turban is a cap to which is sewn a roll of batting covered in taffeta, and an Indian scarf is wrapped around the roll.  The feathers are attached with a vintage brooch and the ends are tucked into the turban.  The jewelry was ordered from India.

There are dress diaries on my blog here and here.
